About the Role:

The Sales Director will focus on developing new business relationships and acquiringnew health plan customers. As an early member of our sales organization at Abacuswe are looking for versatile sales talent with a proven track record of exceeding quota identifying new opportunities and building trusted strong business addition to being asked to effectively articulate Abacus Insights platform valueproposition to prospective stakeholders at all levels you will also work with internalteams across all functions of the company to help streamline and identify ways to wecan deliver value to our customers and prospective customers faster.
What Were Looking For:

- An ambitious individual with 10 years of experience selling software productsplatforms or technical solutions in data management/analytics enablement
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the healthcare industry specifically 5years selling into the healthcare payer market with 6-18 months sales cycles
- Experience with complex sales cycles consisting of multiple buyer personasacross various business and technology units in the payer setting
- A proven sales professional who consistently delivers on sales quotaunderstands the value of networking and specializes in developing and drivingsales from initial outreach to deal closure
- A collaboration-minded person who will work closely with Sales EnablementProduct and Engineering teams to create solution packages based on clientrequirements
- Strong communication skills and ability to conduct in-depth sales presentations including highlighting key benefits and the value of our products
- A sales technologist who prides themselves in knowing the platform inside andout as well as the competitive landscape
- Experience selling in a SaaS business model company
- Ability to form trusted customer relationships with executive sponsorseconomic buyers and enterprise end-users
Bonus Points:

- Experience working in a growth-stage healthcare technology company buildingand bringing new products to market
- Experience selling software products/solutions on cloud platforms like AWSAzure GCP Databricks Snowflake
