Job Description
A nonprofit organization is seeking a Financial Controller to oversee all financial aspects of its programs including revenue tracking expense management profit-sharing calculations compliance and reporting. This role serves as the central point of accountability for all funds and works closely with leadership to ensure sound financial decisions.
The position offers flexibility and can be structured as either a part-time staff role or an hourly contract arrangement.
Responsibilities Include:
Maintaining real-time tracking of income expenses and cash flow
Creating and analyzing financial reports for leadership and stakeholders
Managing disbursements and profit-sharing calculations
Overseeing event and program budgets with detailed tracking
Implementing and monitoring internal financial controls
Negotiating with vendors to optimize costs and efficiency
Ensuring compliance with nonprofit financial regulations and reporting standards
Providing strategic financial guidance to support organizational growth
Ideal Qualifications:
Proven experience in nonprofit financial management or accounting
Strong organizational analytical and communication skills
