Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
Design and develop analog and digital circuits for opto-electronic
communication device and EVB.
Select appropriate components and materials based on performance
(spec) cost and reliability
DFM review with vendor
Create and maintain design documents BOMs and test reports.
Create schematic diagrams using EDA tools
Work together with mechanical and EDA engineer for PCBa layout
Perform simulations and calculations to ensure signal integrity power
efficiency and EMI/EMC compliance
Conduct PCBa bring-up functional testing and debugging of prototype
boards
PCBa and module verification test on electric performance (noise ripple
timing voltage power etc)
Use instruments such as oscilloscopes logic analyzers multimeters and
power supplies for circuit analysis
Electric related troubleshooting or failure analysis
Job Requirements:
Required Skills:
Strong foundation in analog and digital circuit design
Proficiency with EDA tools such as Altium Designer OrCAD KiCad or
Cadence Allegro
Knowledge of electronic components (MCUs ASIC sensors laser driver
TEC controller regulators etc.) and how to choose them based on
application requirements
Understanding of signal integrity power distribution decoupling and
layout best practices.
Experience using oscilloscopes logic analyzers multimeters and
spectrum analyzers.
Familiar with industry standards and design regulatory such as IEEE
802.3 OIF MSA specifications and EMC/ESD/EMI Compliance.
Knowledge and experience on semiconductor laser for optic
communication application
Strong skill on Failure analysis root cause study and improvement
solution
Qualifications:
BS MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering photoelectric Physics or a
related field.
Minimum 12 years of experience in the related industry
Independent electric development experience for mass production
product.
Good communications skills written and verbal in English and Mandarin
Well organized
Strong leadership skills strong people skills
Good willing to take reasonability.
