Job Description
Locum to Perm - Urologist
Join a dedicated team at a well-established hospital-based practice located in Greenville South Carolina. This vibrant facility is seeking a Urologist to provide locum to perm coverage due to a current provider vacancy. The practice focuses exclusively on adult and geriatric patients with a commitment to high-quality inpatient care. With a supportive group of five urologists and on-site lab and X-ray services available youll have the resources you need to excel in your role.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive urology care for adult and geriatric patients.
- Perform necessary procedures including General Urology and Ureteroscopy.
- Collaborate with other urologists during the locum assignment.
- Support inpatient care with a 7-day-a-week APC service.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Participate in on-call and weekend shifts as required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology - REQUIRED.
- Active South Carolina medical license (accepts providers who need to obtain state license).
- Must have ACLS and BLS certifications - REQUIRED.
- DEA certification - REQUIRED.
- Willingness to confirm interest in transitioning from locum to perm.
- Availability for coverage of up to 6 days per month - REQUIRED.
- MUST submit applications for both locations to be considered - REQUIRED.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Active South Carolina medical license.
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Urology.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- Current DEA registration.
