City Capitalare currently representing a highly successful real estate finance lender who are seeking an experienced and knowledge Senior Loan Portfolio Manager to join their dynamic loan management team.
The Company
Our client is a renowned lender of specialist property finance loans delivering solutions to property investors & developers that support important real estate projects.
The lender has achieved exciting growth over recent years backed by excellent funding power and a growing product set. Today our client supports loans against commercial semi-commercial and residential assets largely for property investment or short-term borrowing needs such as bridging finance.
This growth has seen a huge swell in lending volumes which in turn is driving the requirement to appoint a new Senior Loan Portfolio Manager at an exciting time.
Role Overview
As Senior Loan Portfolio Manager you will play an integral role in the management of funded loans with the ultimate goal of achieving positive redemptions in line with contractual agreements.
You will work closely with the Head of Portfolio management on loan and portfolio strategies and will liaise internally with other departments to support borrower needs such as refinance requests new borrowing requests and NPLs.
A key element of the role will be tracking reporting and acting on loan performance. It is likely that you will need to liaise directly with clients to influence best outcomes for all parties.
Core responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
- Monitoring loan performance
- Devising & delivering on loan and portfolio redemption strategies
- Regular reporting to borrowers investors and senior management
- Reviewing contracts and undertaking audits
- Liaising with credit bureaus
- Maintaining Deal Sheets
- Undertaking due diligence
- Main point of contact for borrowers
- Supportinginterestcollectionforliveloans
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role must be able to demonstrate an excellent track record of loan management within the specialist mortgage arena. Individuals who have prior experience in the management of bridging BTL commercial mortgage or development finance loans would be a strong fit.
Any experience of the oversight of junior staff members would be advantageous though not essential.
- Highly experienced in property finance loan portfolio management
- A good knowledge credit/risk principles that underpin strong lending
- A strong relationship manager and communicator in all aspects
- Highly organised and capable of managing multiple loans and borrowers
- An excellent attention to detail and be highly organised
- Highly proactive quick to spot opportunities
On Offer
Our client will pay to a maximum of 85k basic salary with offers relevant to experience. Salary will also be complemented by access to our clients favourable bonus schemes which can significantly increase annual earnings.
Most notably this is also a role that comes with plenty of progression potential for those who can demonstrate a real impact. As noted our clients growth is set to continue and as the loan book expands it is expected the portfolio division will increase in scale. This will lead to opportunities to progress salary and career standing within most likely towards leadership positions.
The role will be based in our clients fantastic central London offices.
