The Role
Our client is seeking a Software Engineer to develop and maintain system management infrastructure software and services for High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems. Youll be part of a team responsible for creating solutions in a Linux environment using a variety of modern programming and scripting languages. The role involves designing developing and deploying software troubleshooting and debugging operational issues and contributing to the overall quality and security of the system. You will also recommend new technologies and processes to improve the software development lifecycle.
What Youll Bring
A Masters degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with five (5) years of experience OR a Bachelors degree with seven (7) years of experience OR nine (9) years of experience as a Software Engineer.
Experience using the Linux CLI and proficiency in Bash/Python scripting.
Experience developing software solutions using languages like Python and Rust in a Linux environment.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker PodMan and containerd.
Experience with automation frameworks like Ansible.
Experience troubleshooting and debugging issues in an operational system.
Experience with CI/CD principles and tools like GitLab CI and Jenkins.
Experience with Git for source code management.
Familiarity with Datacenter Infrastructure Management (DCIM) tools Observability and Analytics platforms (e.g. Splunk) IAM solutions and Secret Management tools is a plus.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum or SAFe methodologies is desired.
Clearance Requirements
