Job description

Were looking for a data-savvy Procurement Analyst who thrives in the details and turns high volume invoice and vendor data into actionable insights. You will ensure invoice accuracy uncover savings opportunities and equip leadership with clear decision-ready analyses.

Key Responsibilities:

Invoice review & reconciliation: Examine large volumes of invoices line by line identify errors resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams and maintain audit ready documentation.

Spend & vendor analytics: Analyze vendor terms pricing structures rate cards and utilization to identify patterns exceptions duplicate/erroneous spend and savings levers.

Savings opportunity sizing: Quantify opportunities (rate alignment volume discounts term optimization SKU rationalization) model scenarios and build business cases.

Reporting & storytelling: Prepare concise dashboards and reports (weekly/monthly/quarterly) that highlight trends KPIs and recommendations for management.

Process improvement: Recommend controls data validations and operating mechanisms to improve invoice accuracy cycle times and cost transparency.

Cross functional collaboration: Partner with Finance/Accounting Operations and business owners; support sourcing or vendor/contract negotiations with data and analyses.

Job requirements

Invoice & reconciliation expertise ability to review high volumes spot errors and resolve discrepancies.

Procurement knowledge understanding of vendor terms pricing structures and savings levers.

Analytical skills can identify patterns and opportunities across vendor data.

Excel mastery pivot tables VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP formulas conditional formatting data validation.

Tooling exposure BI tools (Power BI Tableau or similar) and ERP/Procurement platforms (SAP Coupa NetSuite etc.).

Attention to detail accuracy is nonnegotiable in reconciliation and savings analysis.

Communication able to prepare clear reports and recommendations for management.

5 years in procurement finance or operations with heavy exposure to vendor management invoicing or spend analytics.

Exposure to cost savings initiatives or contract/vendor negotiations (supporting with data even if not lead negotiator).

Bachelors degree in Finance Business Supply Chain Analytics or related field (or equivalent experience)

Desired Skills

Comfortable in the details (line by line invoice review).
Strong at turning raw data into insights (overpayments duplicate spend misaligned vendor terms).
Prior experience in a consulting firm shared services center or procurement function is a plus.
Familiarity with process automation and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms with an understanding of how these tools enhance operational efficiency and compliance.
Capable of supporting leadership by quantifying savings opportunities and risks.
More than an accountant demonstrates business acumen to understand the why behind the data.
Experience building automated checks/controls and data quality rules.
Familiarity with contracting basics (SLAs MSAs SOWs renewals rate cards).
SQL or scripting for data prep/ETL is a plus.
Experience with KPI design for procurement (e.g. price variance on time payment % invoice exception rate savings realized vs. forecast)
