Job Description

About the Role:The Android XTS Testing role focuses on validating the compatibility performance and security of Android devices using Googles official test suites. These suites CTS (Compatibility Test Suite) VTS (Vendor Test Suite) GTS (Google Test Suite) and STS (Security Test Suite) are essential for ensuring that devices meet Android certification standards and qualify for Google Mobile Services (GMS) an xTS Testing Engineer you will be responsible for executing these test suites on target devices analyzing results identifying issues and collaborating with development teams to resolve failures. Your work directly impacts the devices ability to pass certification and reach the market with full Android and GMS and manage Android xTS test suites (CTS VTS GTS STS) on target up test environments and configure devices for certification test results identify failures and collaborate with development teams to resolve documentation of test procedures results and certification closely with QA and product teams to ensure timely GMS approval and device understanding of Android architecture and with Android testing tools like Trade Federation and CTS with Linux command line and Automation scripting (Bash Python).Hands-on experience with Android Studio and debugging tools (ADB Logcat).Knowledge of device certification processes and GMS problem-solving and communication skills.
