Your Role
The function of Regional Business Management Refractive Surgery (REF) is to enable efficient communication between all respective Business Sector and ZEISS country organizations to effectively implement our REF business sector this role you interact with a given set of focus countries and act as their dedicated contact at headquarter level and thereby drive the localization of the global marketing strategy as well as of local will also act as the specialist for all REF business sector products and workflows within the countries.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Headquarter Liaison:Serve as the primary contact for focus countries at the headquarters level and offering expertise on REF products and workflows.
- Formulate all-encompassing market intelligence for selected markets to proficiently express the countrys viewpoint in headquarters dialogues.
- Support REF business growth within SSCs by e.g. Anticipate business opportunities and challenges including competitor moves.
- Improve ease-of-collaboration headquarter - SSCs and SSCs customers by supporting the rollout of REF projects and drive the implementation of REF workflow solution selling and value offering.
- Work together with local and regional sales teams gain customer insights to pinpoint business challenges and assist countries in tackling them including growth opportunities and supply limitations.
- Boost the SSC and customer experience by providing support in addressing daily challenges and escalations encountered by SSC and customers. Offer input and take part in shaping the global marketing strategy acting as the voice of the SSCs.
- Track and assess the effectiveness of campaigns (marketing / congresses / sales) (number of leads generated for SSC sales force / conversions).
- Implementing and Securing Pricing into assigned SSCs for REF products and workflows.
- Achieve a comprehensive understanding of the needs and motivations of REF customers driving collaborations with educational institutions and contributing to the evolution of the product roadmap.
- Coordinate international initiatives in the Refractive Business guiding cross-functional teams and monitoring project outcomes timelines and expenses while upholding transparent communication.
Job Requirements
- At least a bachelor or masters level education in Business Engineering Science or Medical Technology
- A background in country-level Sales is preferred with extra Marketing experience considered an asset.
- Deep and profound work experience in the field of Ophthalmology and/or experience with digital and solution selling
- Solid collaborative and teamworking abilities structured and results-driven work methods
- Willingness to travel
- Strong audience-oriented communication skills - very good knowledge in English German is a plus
- Outstanding presentation capabilities in PowerPoint and Excel
