Job Title: Office Manager / home improvements Projects Coordinator
Job Type: Full-time Permanent

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Office Manager to support the day-to-day operations of a busy
home improvements company. This role combines strong organisational and managerial skills with the ability to
carry out quality workmanship when needed.
Acting as the right-hand support to the Installation Manager you will be responsible for overseeing trades
ensuring projects are delivered to schedule maintaining excellent customer communication and stepping in to
complete or support jobs when required.
This is a varied position that requires both office-based coordination and practical on-site involvement.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Scheduling
o Schedule and coordinate home improvement operations.
o Track progress ensuring jobs are completed on time and to the required standard.
o Push trades to complete work efficiently stepping in to support when necessary.
Customer Communication & Care
o Act as the main point of contact for customers with queries or concerns.
o Explain job schedules and next steps clearly to reassure customers.
o Resolve issues relating to unfinished works or customer dissatisfaction.
o Liaise with customers on outstanding balances identifying reasons for non-payment and
resolving concerns.
On-Site Support
o Visit jobs to check quality progress and customer satisfaction.
o Finish or assist with jobs where required.
o Unload stock and materials when deliveries arrive.
o Conduct basic surveying when needed.
Team & Quality Management
o Support tradespeople on-site providing guidance and troubleshooting.
o Ensure high standards of workmanship across all projects.
o Take pride in driving projects over the finish line.
Key Skills & Experience
Proven experience in the conservatory windows or home improvement industry.
Strong organisational and project coordination skills.
Hands-on multi-trade ability with an eye for quality workmanship.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle challenging conversations and resolve disputes.
Practical surveying knowledge (preferred).
Strong problem-solving approach and ability to get the job over the line.
Must take pride in work and have a proactive can-do attitude.
