Job Description
Our customer is the European online car market with over 30 million monthly users and a presence in 18 countries. As a Senior PHP Engineer you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of online car markets and enhancing the user experience for millions of car buyers and sellers.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the CRM applications using PHP.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers product managers and other developers to define design and ship new features.
- Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
- Optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing of applications to ensure quality and identify and fix bugs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our CRM applications are current and competitive.
- Participate in code reviews provide constructive feedback and mentor junior developers.
- Continuously discover evaluate and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Requirements:
- Canadian Timezone (EDT)
- Be able to work independently take ownership of features.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of professional experience in software development using PHP.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript including ES6 syntax and features.
- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
- Proficiency with version control systems particularly Git.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Upper-intermediate/Advanced English level
