The Role
Our client is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to support a critical information assurance program. The role involves proposing coordinating and enforcing security policies and standards. Youll maintain the operational security posture of information systems manage security aspects of the systems and perform day-to-day security operations. Youll also be responsible for evaluating security solutions conducting vulnerability/risk assessments and preparing documentation such as System Security Plans (SSPs) and Certification and Accreditation (C&A) packages. This role requires managing changes to systems and assessing their security impact in compliance with the NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF).

What Youll Bring
Five (5) years of combined experience in IT cybersecurity or security authorization.A bachelors degree in Computer Science Cyber Security or IT Engineering. Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
Experience in at least two of the following areas: security tools hardware/software security implementation communication protocols or encryption tools and techniques
Familiarity with commercial security products security authorization techniques security incident management and PKI.
One or more of the following certifications: CAP CND Cloud GSLC Security CE HCISPP.

Clearance Requirements
