Key Job Responsibilities
- Coordinating the daily administrative activities including scheduling patient check-in and check-out and patient medical record maintenance.
- Maintains accurate financial records by updating patient financial information and recording and collecting patient charges.
- Obtaining and recording vitals test results and other information for medical records while maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Preparing treatment rooms for clinical examinations.
- Processing of laboratory specimens being sent out to the lab.
- Comforts patients by anticipating patients anxieties and answering patients questions.
- Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations including HIPAA and OSHA.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position has the following qualifications:

- Personable and approachable with a pleasant helpful demeanor
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Previous medical office or receptionist experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical health care record systems especially EPIC.
- Keen emphasis on precision and attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
