Position at JBS USA
Job Title: Grease Recovery Operator- 3rd shift
Location: Green Bay
Reporting to: Environmental Supervisor
Essential Job Functions:
- Operate and monitor two pre-treatment DAF systems to collect #2 grease from plant wastewater
- Monitor and operate melt tank and centrifuge equipment
- Safely fill and load semi-tankers with #2 grease including climbing on top of tankers when required
- Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Assist with wastewater processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned
Experience Required:
- Prior experience in industrial mechanical or wastewater operations preferred but not required
- Ability to work in hot environments and perform physically demanding tasks (climbing lifting etc.)
- Mechanical aptitude with willingness to learn and complete wastewater certifications
Skills/Abilities Required:
- Strong work ethic and dependability
- Ability to follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures
- Willingness to learn wastewater operations and grow within the role
- Flexibility to work 3rd shift schedule and overtime as needed
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
