Job Description
Early Childhood English Tutor (Pre-K & Kindergarten) Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes
Tutor Doctor is a local tutoring company that has proudly served our community for over 11 years. We provide personalized one-on-one tutoring that helps students build confidence strengthen academic skills and discover the joy in learning.
We are seeking a warm engaging Early Childhood English Tutor to work with our youngest learners in the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes area. The ideal candidate has experience teaching or tutoring little ones preferably with a background in Pre-K or Kindergarten and knows how to make learning fun and interactive.
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction in early literacy phonics reading readiness and beginner writing skills.
Create playful and interactive lessons that hold childrens attention.
Adapt teaching methods to each childs unique learning style and developmental stage.
Communicate progress and updates to parents and Tutor Doctor staff.
Foster confidence curiosity and a love of learning in early learners.
Qualifications:
Experience teaching or tutoring young children ideally Pre-K or Kindergarten.
Strong knowledge of early childhood education and foundational literacy.
Ability to create engaging hands-on lessons.
Reliable transportation to student homes in the Wyckoff/Franklin Lakes area.
Flexible availability during after-school hours and/or weekends.
