Job Description

Farm or Mixed Vet Required Co. Cork

A progressive farm-animal veterinary practice in Co. Cork is seeking a motivated Farm Vet to join their young friendly and supportive team. The workload consists of approximately 80% dairy and 20% beef clients with no equine or small animal work.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Provide herd health services with a strong focus on preventative medicine and herd performance.
  • Carry out routine fertility visits pregnancy scanning and reproductive management.
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of farm animal conditions.

  • Support clients with herd health planning nutrition biosecurity and disease prevention.
  • Participate in the shared out-of-hours rota (1:4) with limited OOH commitments outside of the spring season.

About the Role:

  • Experience is preferred but recent or new graduates will be fully supported.
  • A structured induction and mentoring system is available to help new team members settle in.
