As the Junior Insurance Account Manager you will play a key role in supporting account executives and delivering excellent client service. Your responsibilities will include:
Client Support & Service:
o Provide timely responses to client inquiries policy changes and documentation requests.
o Ensure a smooth client experience by addressing needs with accuracy and professionalism.
Policy Administration:
o Assist in preparing quotes proposals and renewals across a range of personal and commercial insurance products.
o Maintain accurate and organized client records in accordance with industry and compliance standards.
Collaboration & Team Support:
o Work closely with account managers underwriters and insurers to deliver effective solutions.
o Contribute to a positive team-oriented work environment by sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues.
Process Improvement:
o Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance client service.
o Support the adoption of technology and tools to improve efficiency and service delivery.
To succeed in this role candidates should demonstrate the following:
Education & Experience:
o Completion of a post-secondary program is an asset; insurance-related education preferred.
o 12 years of experience in an insurance brokerage.
o Level 1 General Insurance License required.
Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working with insurance management systems.
o Experience with online rating and broker platforms is an asset.
Key Competencies:
o Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
o Excellent communication and client service abilities.
o A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
