Job Description
The Industrial Electrical Superintendent serves as the field leader overseeing one or more projects ensuring safety productivity cost control scheduling and quality standards are met. This role requires strong leadership skills hands-on experience with industrial electrical systems and the ability to manage crews while working closely with project managers and clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise industrial electrical crews on active job sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Manage project schedules labor and material costs.
- Interpret and work from electrical blueprints schematics and technical drawings.
- Coordinate installation of switchgear MCCs conduit cable tray transformers substations and other medium-voltage systems.
- Communicate effectively with team members subcontractors and clients.
Required Qualifications:
- 2 years of industrial electrical supervision experience.
- Hands-on experience with medium-voltage (115 kV) systems.
- Knowledge of switchgear MCCs rigid conduit cable tray transformers and substations.
- Strong crew leadership and blueprint/schematic reading skills.
- Valid drivers license with the ability to pass an MVR check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7 years of industrial electrical background.
- Familiarity with PLCs VFDs and instrumentation.
- OSHA-30 NCCER certification or state electrical license.
