They are now seeking a Cards Manager to take ownership of the cards product proposition. This role will play a key part in shaping managing and enhancing the lifecycle of card products ensuring operational excellence regulatory compliance and market competitiveness.
Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of card products from development and launch to optimisation and eventual retirement.
Oversee day-to-day operations for card issuance activation and usage while ensuring card management systems are fully functional and updated.
Collaborate with payment networks (Visa Mastercard) processing vendors and internal teams to guarantee smooth delivery and service.
Monitor product performance analyse trends and recommend enhancements to strengthen customer value and business growth.
Ensure compliance with PSD2 AML/CFT PCI DSS and other local/international regulations.
Manage vendor relationships negotiate service agreements and oversee new card designs upgrades or functionality improvements.
Lead and support projects related to new product launches or system enhancements working closely with IT compliance and operations teams.
Provide internal training support and resources (guides FAQs troubleshooting) to ensure teams can effectively assist customers.
Deliver regular reports to senior management with actionable insights on usage performance and customer satisfaction.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Banking & Finance or a related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in financial services with solid exposure to card issuing (mandatory).
Strong understanding of card management systems payment processing and regulatory frameworks.
Proven ability to analyse data identify trends and deliver strategic recommendations.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with vendors teams and customers.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy compliance and operational excellence.
In-depth knowledge of the payments ecosystem including card networks interchange and payment gateways.
A proactive hands-on professional who can work independently while thriving in a collaborative environment.
