Job Description
Hours: Full-time 5:30 AM 1:30 PM IST (Colombo time)
Seniority: Senior Level
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior AU Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end bookkeeping and payroll functions for Australian clients. The ideal candidate will be confident in handling accounts independently ensuring compliance and delivering accurate financial reports while maintaining excellent client communication.
Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end bookkeeping using Xero (super-user level) with additional experience in MYOB or QuickBooks.
- Payroll processing for Australian clients including Superannuation Payroll Tax and PAYG.
- Accounts Receivable & Payable (using Xero plugins such as HubDoc/DEXT).
- Managing client queries documentation and financial data.
- Ensuring compliance with Australian Accounting Standards including BAS/IAS lodgements.
- Delivering timely and accurate financial reporting to support decision-making.
Profile Requirements
- 5 years experience as a Bookkeeper.
- Proven experience working with Australian clients.
- Degree in Finance or Accounting qualification in CIMA CMA ACCA or CA.
- Strong English communication skills (written & spoken).
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
