At Acelero Learning Delaware we believe that every classroom needs a strong teamand were looking for a caring collaborative Teacher Assistant to join this role youll support Head Start Teachers to create a joyful inclusive and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children ages 35.
What Youll Do
As a Teacher Assistant you will:
Support classroom routines instruction and transitions throughout the day.
Foster a safe and nurturing space for children to learn and grow.
Help implement a child-centered curriculum that encourages exploration and creativity.
Assist with documentation and observation of childrens progress.
Model positive interactions language and behavior.
Build respectful trusting relationships with children families and coworkers.
Who You Are
Were looking for someone who is:
Passionate about early childhood education
Collaborative dependable and eager to learn.
Flexible and responsive to classroom and student needs.
Bilingual (Spanish-English) is a plus!
Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or related coursework in ECE preferred.
Ability to lift 40 lbs. and engage actively with children.
Pass a physical exam and background check.
Valid drivers license or reliable transportation required.

This position earns up to $20.00/hr
