Job Description
The Employee Services Department will be accepting applications for the followingclub athleticassignment for the 2025-2026 school year:
POSITION: Powerlifting Club Head Coach
DESCRIPTION:
Utica Community Schools is seeking a Powerlifting Club Head Coachat Henry Ford II High School. The Powerlifting Club Head Coachis responsible for the operation of the program while remaining in compliance with Board of Education district and building policies. The district supports promotion of internal candidates.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate the athletic program in accordance with Board of Education district and building policies.
- Coordinate in-season and off-season team activities including practices workouts and events.
- Support the physical emotional and academic development of student athletes.
QUALIFICATIONS/ATTRIBUTES:
- Prior coaching experience required.
- CPR concussion certification and AED training required.
- Possess strong character and the ability to build relationships with team members and parents.
- Willingness and desire to participate in all aspects of program development.
- Valid State of Michigan Teachers Certificate preferred.
