Job Summary
As a Microbiology Technician at Aculabs you will play a key role in performing and monitoring laboratory testing to ensure accurate timely and compliant results in accordance with HIPAA and CLIA regulations.

Responsibilities
- Monitors test analyses and examinations to ensure only acceptable levels of analytic performance are reported.
- Monitors the status of daily patient testing
- Perform a variety of routine non-technical duties and assist technical and professional personnel in conducting tests determinations and experiments in clinical laboratories.
- Identifies problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results
Requirements/ Education (Any one of the following will be taken into account)
- MLT or MT certification (Bachelors in Microbiology/Biology is a plus)
- MD DO DPM with current license in the State of the laboratorys location.
- PhD in Clinical Laboratory Science or another medically similar science field.
- MS in medical technology clinical laboratory science or chemical physical or biological science.
- BS in medical technology clinical laboratory science or chemical physical or biological science.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow laboratory protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
