Job Description

Job Summary

The Right-of-Way Coordinator is tasked with negotiating drafting and securing agreements related to land surface operations for the Company including drilling wells and constructing facilities. This dynamic role requires the ability to manage complex projects with tight deadlines overseeing an inventory of drill sites for multiple rigs and coordinating the performance of similar duties in remote areas.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prioritizes assigns and supervises project field staff while actively participating in fieldwork and managing right-of-way office operations.

  • Determines surface ownership coordinates surface use agreements and obtains necessary permits and inspections from regulatory agencies.

  • Mediates issues among landowners agents and subcontractors maintaining effective communication with all parties to ensure project coordination.

  • Supports various departments such as Business Development and the Land department ensuring that all necessary work is completed and critical obligations are identified and met.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Competencies

  • Strong work ethic proactive attitude and initiative with the ability to lead in team settings.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills thriving in fast-paced environments.

  • Extensive knowledge of state oil and gas regulations and proficiency in writing reports and business correspondence.

  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills capable of organizing prioritizing delegating and leading projects.

  • Strong communication skills both written and oral and proficiency in MS Office.

  • Proven team player focused on servant leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college.

  • Minimum one (1) year of recent related experience in Right-of-Way projects.

  • An acceptable pre-employment background and drug test.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Energy Management Real Estate Business Administration or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.

  • At least five (5) years of recent related experience in the oil and gas Industry.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Requires prolonged sitting some bending and stooping.

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.

  • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
