Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our growing team. As an Event Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in planning executing and managing a wide range of events from corporate meetings to large-scale conferences and social gatherings. Your creativity and organizational skills will be crucial as you collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that every event is executed flawlessly and meets our high standards of excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Plan organize and oversee events from conception to completion while managing all event logistics.
  • Coordinate all event-related activities including venue selection catering audiovisual needs and entertainment.
  • Develop and manage event budgets ensuring events are executed within financial parameters and guidelines.
  • Communicate with clients to determine event objectives needs and expectations for successful delivery of services.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and manage relationships to ensure quality service delivery.
  • Promote events through various marketing channels including social media newsletters and flyers to maximize attendance.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Event Management Hospitality Communications or a related field.
  • Proven experience in event planning or coordination is essential with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective interaction with clients vendors and team members.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools as well as Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint).
  • A keen eye for detail and aesthetics to ensure events are visually appealing and align with branding.
