Caterpillars Global Finance Services Organization ensures the integrity of financial reporting and provides strategic financial leadership. We are a global team that provides comprehensive finance services for the enterprise and supports the finance-related functions of the business units while supporting key business initiatives that drive profitable growth through actionable insights and financial management. Role Definition:

The Organization and Talent Manager leads global talent management process program practice and system deployment efforts that aim to measure develop manage and retain the organizations talent pool.

What You Will Do:

  • Serving as a thought leader for talent management programs and technology; Providing advice and support to business and HR leaders addressing talent management related questions and requests.
  • Ensuring effectiveness of programs and providing feedback to Centers of Excellence re: process program practice and system design.
  • Leading change management initiatives associated with talent management activities.
  • Leading team of talent management professionals to collaborate effectively with Centers of Excellence and serve as thought partners to the business and HR.

What You Bring:

  • Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organizations vision structure culture philosophy operating principles values and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
  • Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
  • Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives projects groups or activities making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation.
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Knowledge of tools techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
  • Talent Transformation: Knowledge of the concept and strategies of talent transformation; ability to harness the potential and skills of employees to help them reach leadership positions while achieving the organizations strategic business objectives.
  • Succession Planning: Knowledge of policies techniques methods and processes of succession planning; ability to identify and develop internal employees for the future fulfillment of an organizations core positions.
  • Talent Management: Knowledge of how an organization attracts recruits retains identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
  • Training and Development: Knowledge of employee training and development methodologies; ability to ensure that a target population has the knowledge and skills required to meet both tactical and strategic objectives.

Additional Info:

  • The primary location for this position is Irving TX.
  • This position is an onsite role requiring the candidate to be in the office Monday to Friday.
  • Travel up to 10%-15%.
  • Relocation will be provided for this role.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Summary Pay Range:

$156000.00 - $234000.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market locationjob-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
