The Environmental Manager will be responsible for leading our environmental and sustainability efforts across multiple business sites. This role will manage and lead a team ensure compliance with local state and federal regulations and drive innovative programs that reduce risk and advance sustainability goals. Were looking for a candidate who is not only a proven leader but also an expert in Wisconsin state environmental regulations with the technical depth to navigate complex compliance requirements and the vision to pioneer initiatives that go beyond compliance.
YOUR IMPACT:
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Lead and develop a high-performing environmental team.
Manage processes to comply with the obligations of permits for local state and federal regulations.
Research develop and improve environmental programs and sustainability initiatives.
Develop and manage departmental budgets.
Collaborate cross-functionally to embed best practices across the business.
Support business development initiatives and activities.
Work with the operations team to reduce both environmental risks and costs as well as to remain compliance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Environmental Science Engineering Sustainability or related field.
Five (5) or more years of experience.
One (1) or more years of management experience.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong verbal and written communications skills.
Knowledge of major environmental regulations and compliance frameworks.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The following represents general working conditions for this role. Specific conditions may vary depending on business needs and individual circumstances.
This role combines office-based administrative duties with physical activity in field or production environments.
In the office setting tasks may require extended computer use sitting and attending meetings.
Field or floor work may involve walking across various terrains or shop floors standing moderate lifting (up to 50 pounds) climbing stairs and exposure to varying temperatures or noise levels.
Must be able to shift focus between detailed cognitive work and occasional physical tasks as needed.

Pay Range:
$102800.00 - $176800.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
