Job Summary
Park Avenue Group a subsidiary of Angott Search Group has partnered with a $1 billion credit union in Florida in their search for an experienced Information Security Manager. This leadership role is designed for a strategic hands-on professional who will champion the institutions information security framework and ensure the effective management of all cybersecurity risks.
As the Information Security Manager youll be the driving force behind the credit unions security program. Your primary responsibility is to develop implement and continuously improve the security framework ensuring strict adherence to all federal and state regulations. Youll work cross-functionally with IT Risk Management Compliance and Legal departments to embed security into all business processes.
This is a comprehensive leadership position where youll be accountable for everything from overseeing network security and managing incident responses to conducting risk assessments leading security training and evaluating third-party providers. A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required as is the ability to motivate and influence others.
What Youll Bring
- A minimum of 8 years in information security IT risk management or cybersecurity with at least 3 years in a management role. Experience leading audits and managing security risk assessments is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a financial institution or technology company dealing with multiple business platforms is required.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred but equivalent work experience and certifications will be considered.
- Desired certifications include CISM CISA CISSP GIAC CEH or Security. PMP certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to work and travel independently manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced environment are also critical.
