Job Description

There has never been a more exciting time to join Schulte European Group (SEG). We are looking for a Regional Finance Manager to support our growing hotel portfolio across the UK and Europe. Based in our London office (hybrid with weekly office presence required) youll play a key role in overseeing financial operations across several hotels while supporting the Regional Finance Team to deliver accurate reporting and strong commercial performance

What will I be doing

As a Regional Finance Manager youll:

  • Oversee finance activities for 36 hotels working closely with on-property Financial Controllers.

  • Prepare compile and distribute analytical reports including Weekly Rolling Forecasts Monthly Forecasts P&Ls and budgets.

  • Review analyse and record AP/AR invoices and expenses.

  • Coordinate and present month-end reporting for the corporate office.

  • Track expenses against budget reporting variances to department heads.

  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly.

  • Manage operating cash flow and projections.

  • Prepare monthly purchase and sales tax reports.

  • Oversee accounts receivables at regional level including aging analysis and bad debt provisions.

  • Support annual audits (external and internal).

  • Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accepted accounting practices.

  • Support the Regional Director of Finance and wider finance team with ad hoc projects.

What are we looking for

Youll be someone who thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment and brings both technical expertise and strong collaboration skills. Were looking for:

  • A degree in Finance or Accounting.

  • 4 years experience in general accounting.

  • Advanced Excel skills alongside proficiency in PowerPoint and Word.

  • A strong work ethic with the ability to self-manage and prioritise effectively.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Knowledge of accounting principles AP/GL systems and financial reporting procedures.

  • Strong analytical problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a regional team in a hybrid set-up.
