Job Summary
PCB Designer
Our client a leader in electronic design and manufacturing solutions is seeking a PCB Designer to create optimize and document printed circuit board layouts in support of their engineering team.
Responsibilities:
-Partner with engineers to translate schematics into layouts apply design constraints and define appropriate board dimensions
-Review component data sheets to create accurate symbols while accounting for mechanical and circuit-specific requirements
-Interpret and apply schematic details to achieve efficient component placement and board design
-Perform routing that balances electrical performance with project deadlines
-Prepare complete documentation packages including output files manufacturing deliverables and assembly drawings
-Design and support both straightforward and highly complex multilayer boards
Qualifications:
-Skilled in PCB design software including Altium OrCAD and PADS
- 5 years of experience
-Solid foundation in electronics
-Ability to apply engineering design principles to ensure functional compliant layouts
-Knowledge of IPC standards and specifications is preferred
-Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and refining designs to meet industry requirements
