Job Description

Were seeking someone to join our team as a Associate in CORDS to update client data conducts regulatory checks for accounts and works with multiple downstream teams to ensure all regulatory requirements are satisfied. The role liaises with many teams including risk documentation connectivity regulatory margin and interest. This role is the business units single point of contact and will be coordinating with many different teams across the firm.

In the Operations division we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships. This is an Associate level position level position within the Core Services which is responsible for performing and managing product-agnostic and centralized operational services across several businesses and products.

What youll do in the role:

  • Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts leveraging knowledge of the systems markets and instruments that influence the team

  • Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements

  • Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders sharing knowledge to contribute to team output

  • Participate in projects and initiatives aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution

  • Coordinate and execute projects related to client onboarding and regulatory data with global team members.

  • Monitor onboarding queues and advise internal stakeholders on outstanding regulatory requirements.

  • Perform regulatory validation checks post account opening and liaise with internal stakeholders on issues identified.

  • Improve and monitor existing data quality control framework and create new control frameworks for client account data reference management.

  • Create new processes and system functionality for the management of Regulatory Controls (Dodd Frank EMIR FINRA SEC etc.)

  • Respond to inquiries from Legal and Compliance Internal Audit and regulators.

  • Provide metrics to management and stakeholders as needed.

  • Subject matter expertise in business area supported client requirements and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests

  • At least 2 years relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role

Salary range for the position: $51000- $83000/ Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
