ABOUT THE ROLE:
This role is responsible for owning and scaling retention revenue through advanced Klaviyo strategy lifecycle automation segmentation and performance-driven campaign execution. The ideal candidate combines strong operational skills with strategic thinking and delivering high-impact campaigns while driving measurable improvements in customer lifetime value (LTV) repeat purchase rate and total email-attributed revenue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
1. Email & SMS Campaign Execution
- Plan write and deploy 812 campaign emails monthly aligned with the marketing calendar.
- Run A/B tests on subject lines content and send times.
- Ensure timely error-free execution in collaboration with designers and copywriters.
2. Lifecycle Flow Management
- Audit build and optimize automation flows (e.g. Welcome Winback Replenishment).
- Implement smart logic and dynamic content blocks for enhanced performance.
3. Segmentation & List Health
- Manage advanced audience segmentation (e.g. RFM geo engagement).
- Maintain list hygiene reduce unsubscribes and grow engaged profiles
4. Reporting & Optimisation
- Deliver weekly performance reports (e.g. open rate CTR revenue).
- Share actionable insights and continuously improve lifecycle marketing efforts.
5. Strategic Collaboration
- Partner closely with internal and client teams to align goals messaging and execution.
- Support ad-hoc retention projects and share learnings from testing.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs) :
1. Email Performance (Open Rate Click-through Rate Conversion Rate Revenue per Recipient)
2.Automation Effectiveness (% of Email Revenue from Flows Flow Conversion Performance Lifecycle Gaps Identified & Addressed)
3. List & Engagement Health (Active Profile Growth Deliverability & Unsubscribe Rate Engagement by Segment)
4. Testing & Iteration (Number of A/B Tests per Month Key Insights & Improvements Implemented)
5. Retention Impact (Returning Customer Rate Campaign Revenue Attribution Flow Revenue Growth Over Time)
KEY QUALIFICATIONS :
- 3 years of experience in retention/email marketing or digital campaign execution.
- Proven success using Klaviyo (required) experience with HubSpot or Mailchimp a bonus.
- Strong understanding of email/SMS automation flows segmentation and testing.
- Experience in eCommerce preferably with US AU or EU markets.
- Basic HTML/CSS (preferred) for email troubleshooting and customization.
- Strong analytical skills using tools like Google Analytics and Excel.
- Attention to detail and time management to meet campaign deadlines.
- Self-driven and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
SUCCESS MILESTONES :
By Day 30 :
- Audit all flows and campaign structure
- Launch 1 new automation (e.g. winback or birthday)
- Present 90-day roadmap
- Improve click rate >1%
By Day 60 :
- Run 3 A/B tests and extract actionable insights
- Rebuild 12 underperforming flows
- Increase revenue per recipient to >$0.22
- Launch 35 segments for smarter targeting
By Day 90 :
- Add 2 new flows (VIP replenishment)
- Grow email revenue to $2530K/month
- Launch evergreen campaigns for top-performing SKUs
- Deliver full retention dashboard weekly reporting
