A Day in the Life
We are seeking an Advanced Analytics Analyst to join our Global Corporate Audit team as an individual contributor based in Prague Czech Republic. You will be part of a global and experienced team located in both Minneapolis US and Prague Czech Republic.
As an Advanced Analytics Analyst you will work on a variety of strategic and ad-hoc projects with coaching and guidance from experienced analysts supporting our data-driven approach to audits and decision-making. You will collaborate with audit teams worldwide on assurance and advisory engagements in line with the audit plan generating data insights. Additionally you will have the opportunity to contribute to global strategic departmental projects developing cutting-edge analytical tools to support continuous risk assessment processes providing self-service analytics and enabling continuous auditing.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Serve as an integral member of audit engagement teams understanding analytical requests and providing expert advice on leveraging data and analytics to enhance value in assurance and advisory projects.
- Conduct statistical analysis on data and information.
- Develop end-to-end strategic and ad-hoc analytical tools.
- Mine extract transform and model both structured and unstructured data.
- Convert data into actionable insights and present these to various stakeholders in a clear concise and non-technical manner.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in relevant fields such as Statistics Accounting Finance Business Administration or Computer Science.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proficiency in English communication both verbal and written.
- Working knowledge and proficiency in SQL and visualization tools with Power BI being advantageous.
- Strong willingness and motivation to continue developing and learning.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally ranging from 10% to 20%.
Ideally you bring 12 years of experience in external audit (e.g. with a Big Four firm or a similar environment) or 2 years in internal audit accounting or finance. Additionally a working knowledge of Python would be a strong asset.
