Job Description: Radiation Therapist

Position Overview:
The Radiation Therapist will be responsible for delivering radiation treatment to patients in a healthcare setting. The ideal candidate should be ARRT certified and open to new graduates. Experience with Elekta equipment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer radiation treatments to patients as per the prescribed course.
- Ensure accurate alignment of treatment equipment and positioning of patients.
- Monitor patients conditions and provide necessary care during treatments.
- Maintain accurate records of treatment and patient responses.
- Collaborate with oncologists and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
- Educate patients about the treatment process and care instructions.
- Maintain equipment and perform regular checks to ensure optimal functionality.
- Comply with safety standards and regulations in the use of radiation equipment.
Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification is a must.
- Open to new graduates.
- Experience with Elekta equipment is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support patients through their treatment journey.
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
Experience:
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
Salary:
The salary for this position ranges from 36.83 to 47.74 annually. The actual salary will be determined based on the candidates interview performance and skill set.
