DB Developer with Power BI

Overview:

In this role you will be responsible for coding testing and delivering high quality deliverables and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities:

Will be responsible for design code & maintain databases and ensuring their stability reliability and performance.
Research and suggest new database products services and protocols.
Ensure all database programs meet company and performance requirements.
Collaborate with other database teams and owners of different applications.
Modify databases according to requests and perform tests.
Maintain and own database in all environments

Minimum Qualifications:

BE/B Tech/MCA
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

Bachelors or masters degree in quantitative discipline (e.g. engineering science statistics math) or equivalent combination of education training certification and experience
Experience with presentation-layer reporting applications (Tableau SSAS Cognos BO) with an understanding of data warehousing and data modeling methodologies.
Experience in Power BI
Advanced experience in Sybase shell scripting Unix database design and modelling
Knowledge of standard methodologies when dealing with relational databases
An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude
Knowledge on Control-M Job configuration and scheduling; File transfer mechanisms
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN; merging and creating production scripts
SQL server DB coding DB scheduling tools File transfer mechanisms DB DevOps
