About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Registered Childrens Home Manager to oversee two Ofsted-registered residential homes in Birmingham and Leicester supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Tasks
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of two childrens homes (Birmingham & Leicester).
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and Childrens Homes Regulations.
- Lead mentor and support staff teams ensuring professional growth and development.
- Design and oversee individualised care plans to meet each young persons emotional and developmental needs.
- Promote safeguarding practices and maintain a safe nurturing and therapeutic environment.
- Monitor performance through audits incident reviews and continuous improvement measures.
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience in a senior or deputy role within a childrens residential home.
- Strong background in supporting children with EBD and challenging behaviours.
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding law Ofsted standards and Childrens Homes Regulations.
- Level 4 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Understanding of trauma-informed practice.
- Enhanced DBS required.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- No sponsorship available applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK (Share Code if applicable).
