Director - Product Lifecycle Management

Visa U.S.A. Inc. a Visa Inc. company needs a Director - Product Lifecycle Management (multiple openings) in San Francisco CA to:

• Responsible for designing documenting implementing governing and continuously improving the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) framework.
• Design and implement key processes forums and metrics for each of the phases of the PLM framework (e.g. concept plan build launch).
• Participate in the global effort to automate each phase of the framework (e.g. approval workflow knowledge management and repository decision making reporting etc.).
• Design and implement metrics to monitor the effectiveness of the PLM framework.
• Produce insights analyses and recommendations to improve the PLM process.
• Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g. finance pricing risk commercialization product development client services) and across global regional teams to implement and improve the product lifecycle process.
• Lead ad-hoc strategic and operational projects such as the automation of product roadmaps and the development of value streams for each of the business units.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective management of expectations.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required 5-10% of the time.
• Position reports to the San Francisco CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

• Employer will accept a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management or related field followed by 10 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Alternatively employer will accept a Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Business Management or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
• Position requires experience in the following:
  • Leading end-to-end Product Lifecycle Management implementations from process reengineering and development to solution build and rollout;
  • Developing current state process maps target state process reengineering and business/functional requirements specifications;
  • Understanding Agile development frameworks and incorporating principles into the design of new processes;
  • Creating user journey map and value stream mapping;
  • Visio;
  • Figma;
  • Jira; and
  • Microsoft PowerPoint Word and Excel.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: Domestic and/or international travel may be required 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $161500.00 to $258400.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
