Job Description
We are hiring a CDL Driver for a refrigerated freight line of business in Salt Lake City Utah. The open position is for two solo drivers.
Position Details
This position requires an experienced driver with at least one year of experience. You must live within 50 miles of the 84120 zip code and hold a HAZMAT endorsement. The lanes involve running preloaded freight from Tooele UT to locations throughout the West. Drivers can expect good mileage and pay.
The schedule includes both day and night shifts with weekend work. The position offers 34-hour restarts for home time with some drivers in Northern California Southern California and Utah getting weekly home time. Other drivers may be out for 10 to 21 days. The work is a combination of live load and drop-and-hook and is mostly no-touch freight.
Compensation and Benefits
The pay is based on experience ranging from $0.60 to $0.70 per mile. The average weekly earnings are $1500 with weekly mileage estimated between 2000 and 2800 miles. You will also receive a $50.00 stop pay. There are no bonuses or short haul pay.
