Security Clearance Requirements:
This position requires all candidates to be U.S. Citizens and possess an active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include:
Architect & Design: Develop system architectures using DoDAF and SOA frameworks. Generate alternative system concepts and physical architectures.
Requirements Engineering: Manage and derive system requirements ensuring compatibility and traceability across hardware software and personnel components.
Documentation & Planning: Contribute to System Engineering Plans Interface Control Documents and Requirements Specifications.
Integration & Verification: Define verification methods coordinate system integration and ensure compliance with rigorous standards.
Risk & Configuration Management: Assess risks manage system baselines and support Configuration Control Board (CCB) activities.
Security Engineering: Develop requirements for Information Assurance (IA) services and mechanisms including cryptography access control and key management.
Lifecycle Support: Guide systems from concept through deployment and sustainment ensuring performance reliability and maintainability.
Advanced Capabilities (Level 3)
Lead trade studies and Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) to optimize system performance and cost.
Apply validated models and simulations to reduce development risk.
Serve as a technical authority in CCBs and integration efforts.
Recommend standards and enforce interoperability across evolving technologies.
Monitor risks using earned value management (EVM) and develop mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Systems Engineer Level 2
Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Fourteen (14) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required.
Systems Engineer Level 3
Bachelors degree in System Engineering Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Science Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.
Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope type and complexity is required. Demonstrated experience in planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
Desired Skills
