Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT)
Department: Radiology / Cardiology
Type: Contract (8 weeks)
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour (08:00 AM 05:00 PM)
Start Date: 09/08/2025

Job Description

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) for an 8-week contract assignment. This role requires candidates with strong PET CT experience and certification through CNMT NMTCB or ARRT along with active BLS certification. Both local candidates and true travelers are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform nuclear medicine procedures including PET CT imaging in accordance with established protocols and physician orders.

  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately.

  • Operate imaging equipment and ensure high-quality diagnostic images.

  • Monitor patient condition and provide clear instructions to ensure safety and comfort during procedures.

  • Document patient information procedures and results accurately within the charting system.

  • Collaborate with physicians radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.

  • Adhere to safety standards radiation safety regulations and hospital compliance protocols.

Key Requirements:
  • Contract start date: ASAP (preferred within 2 weeks).

  • Daily Caseload: To be confirmed by facility.

  • On-Call Requirement: None.

  • Weekend Requirement: None.

  • Floating: Not required.

  • Locals Accepted: Yes.

  • Pending License Accepted: No.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.

Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience required.

  • PET CT experience is mandatory.

  • First-time travelers are accepted.

License/Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) Required.

  • CNMT NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) Required.

Skills:

  • Expertise in PET CT imaging.

  • Strong patient care and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

  • Proficient in radiation safety practices and compliance.
