Onsite Project Manager-Ahmedabad
Project Planning and Initiation
- Define project scope as may be required goals deliverables and timelines.
- Develop detailed project plans schedules and resource allocations.
- Identify project risks dependencies and constraints.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements and set expectations
Team and Resource Management
Client and Stakeholder Communication
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client on project matters.
- Facilitate regular meetings updates and reviews with stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and handle escalations when needed.
Project Execution and Monitoring
- Track progress against milestones and deadlines.
- Ensure adherence to scope time and budget constraints.
- Monitor team performance and project KPIs.
- Use project management tools (e.g. JIRA MS Project etc
Quality Assurance and Compliance
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Coordinate testing UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and validation processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies industry regulations and security standards.
Risk and Issue Management
- Identify potential issues and proactively develop mitigation strategies.
- Escalate critical risks to senior management when necessary.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain all project documentation (plans reports change logs etc.).
- Provide regular status reports to clients and internal management.
Change Management
- Handle scope changes and update project plans accordingly.
- Get client approval for any significant changes.
- Assess the impact of changes on schedule and budget.
Project Account Management
- Financial Management - Payment follow-ups with Regional Finance against PI/PO
- Co-ordination with IPO as and when required.
- Co-ordination with all stakeholders for day-to-day operations
- Checking and responding to all Adani Cements mails queries
- Conduct Client reviews aligned to KPIs
- Client contract renewal.
- Account recon with Client Finance.
- Work with Client/others for new Business opportunities.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as:
- Information Technology/Computer Science/Engineering/Business Administration (with IT focus)
- Project Management certification (will be an added advantage)
Professional Experience
- 5 years of experience in IT project management or related technical roles.
- Experience managing onsite and cross-functional teams.
- Prior experience in client-facing roles especially in on-premises deployments or implementation projects.
- Proven track record of delivering complex IT projects on time
- Experience working in Loyalty projects will be added advantage
Technical Skills
- Familiarity with technologies relevant to the project (e.g. software development infrastructure ERP cloud computing etc.).
- Proficiency in project management tools:
- Understanding of SDLC Agile Waterfall or Hybrid methodologies.
- Knowledge of basic networking databases cybersecurity or enterprise systems is a plus.
