- Perform all shipping and receiving functions including loading and unloading trucks and containers with attention to safety and efficiency
- Pick pack process audit and wrap customer orders within a computerized ERP system ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Prepare and complete documentation including Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) maintaining precise record-keeping
- Adhere to and promote continuous improvement initiatives conforming to departmental and company standards
- Demonstrate ability to multi-task and function effectively in a team atmosphere
- Assist other staff as required fostering a collaborative work environment
- Manage inventory levels conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks following all safety protocols
- Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of shipments
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse adhering to all safety and sanitation standards
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to shipping receiving or inventory discrepancies
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to improve logistics processes and efficiency
- Stay updated on industry best practices and implement new procedures as directed
- Assist in training new team members on warehouse procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications :
PREFERRED:
- 2 years shipping/receiving experience
- Familiar with computerized ERP systems
- Licensed to operate Forklift and Overhead Cranes (Oetiker will provide in-house training for the successful candidate)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Computerized ERP EDI
