This is a remote position.
Spirit Truck Lines is seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Remote Typist Data Entry Specialist to join our growing this role you will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing data across various platforms supporting operational efficiency and ensuring the integrity of information used in logistics and transportation operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately type and enter data from source documents into internal systems
Maintain and update customer and driver records in databases
Review and verify data for errors correcting any inconsistencies
Generate reports as needed for internal departments
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive company and customer information
Organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy
Requirements
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Proven experience in data entry or typist roles
Strong typing speed and accuracy (minimum 50 WPM preferred)
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word) and data entry software
Ability to work independently in a remote setting
Good communication skills and time management
Preferred Skills:
Experience in the transportation or logistics industry
Familiarity with transportation management systems (TMS)

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate s or bachelor s degree preferred. 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or freight operations. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficient in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Familiarity with FMCSA and DOT regulations is a plus.
