Job Description

Job Quick Facts:

Reason For Coverage: Supplemental

Coverage Period: ASAP - Ongoing

Coverage Type: Clinical Call

Shift Schedule: 6a-6p

Call Schedule: 1-2 nights per week; 12 hrs on call

Call Type: Beeper

Call Response Time: 20 mins

Callback: 15%

Call Coverage: Cath Lab Consultative service primarily phone calls from hospitalists or regional transferring facilities.

Patient Volume: 10-20

Rounding Included: Yes

- W/ the support of APP resources.

Support Staff: 3 RNs 1 APP 1 Office Staff

Required Procedures/Duties:

- IP Cardiology: ICU

- Non-invasive: Echocardiography TEE (Transesophageal Echo) Nuclear Cardiology (Cardiolyte thallium etc) & STEMI.

- Reads IP echoes & nuclear studies as well as performs IP TEEs.

Beds in the Dept: 30

Trauma Level: I

EMR: Cerner

Travel lodging and malpractice insurance covered

Requirements:

MT License or willing to obtain

BC/BE

BLS

Fellowship
