Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Accounting Manager to join our growing team at a reputable public accounting firm. The ideal candidate will be a CPA with deep experience in managing complex tax engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients. This role involves managing client relationships supervising staff ensuring compliance with federal and state tax laws and contributing to the firms strategic initiatives.

Qualifications

CPA license required
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field (Masters in Taxation a plus)
Minimum of 68 years of public accounting experience with a focus on tax
Strong knowledge of federal state and local tax regulations
Experience with tax software (e.g. ProSystem fx CCH Axcess UltraTax or similar)
Exceptional analytical organizational and problem-solving skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to manage client expectations effectively
