Job Summary
This job refers to our Automotive brands Autoscout24 and Motoscout24. Were building on a modern technology stack with Java following best practices and striving to build/measure/learn at a high cadence. Heres your chance to join a great product team that collaborates with designers product managers researchers QA and engineers from other fields.
What you will be doing:
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to ship valuable product increments
- Write high-quality code and tests within established development standards and patterns following industry best practices
- Contribute to design decisions and technical discussions as part of the engineering team
- Own the production operation and monitoring of the systems
- Make a positive impact towards a healthy and maintainable platform every day
- Proactively support and mentor other team members and help them accelerate their career-growth
Qualifications :
What we are looking for:
- Fluent in English for both written and spoken communication
- Proven ability to proactively identify analyze and drive solutions for complex technical and product problems navigating ambiguity and breaking them down into actionable steps
- At least 6 years of experience developing Backend systems in Java
- At least 4 years of experience with Spring Boot
- Solid grounding in Computer Science: data structures algorithms mathematics.
- Fluency with automated testing (unit integration tests) and CI/CD
- Strong working knowledge of distributed systems and messaging solutions
- Experience with Cloud Services preferably with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Eagerness to learn and understand the business vision strategy and priorities
Nice to have:
- Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
- Kubernetes and containers
- Kafka
- Elasticsearch
