Job Description

Setup and Location: WFH
Work Schedule: 09:00 AM to 06.00 PM AEST (07:00 AM - 04:00 PM PH Time)
Employment Type: Full-time

We seek an SMSF Accountant is responsible for undertaking all production accounting activities including preparation review and analysis of financial statements and taxation requirements and deliver associated quality professional accounting outcomes.

What You ll Do

Responsible for preparation of annual Self-Managed Superannuation Fund Financial Statements Tax Returns and Audit Files.

Organize and update financial records as needed (digital) for tax purposes.

Consider and implement taxation planning for tax minimization.

Liaise with clients and advise on technical matters as they arise.

Work with a small team of accountants and manage workflow.

Deliver operating efficiencies through accounting and business systems.

Responsible for tracking and following up accounts receivable.

Prepare accounts payable and validate invoices.

Responsible for preparing BAS bookkeeping procedures.

Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare management accounts.

Stay informed on industry developments and changes in regulations.

Strong knowledge and experience in Australian tax compliance.

Other ad hoc tasks as required.



Requirements

What You Bring
We re looking for someone who:

Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance or any relevant field.

Minimum 3 year experience in SMSF Accounting and Australian Accounting.

At least 3 years working experience using XERO MYOB BGL 360 and other related business and accounting software systems.

Strong attention to detail time management and accounting administration skills.

Familiarity with office management procedures and accounting principles.

Excellent knowledge of MS Office Excel and office management software.

Strong research problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Excellent written and verbal English business communication skills.
