As a Mental Health First Aid Tutor you will have the opportunity to empower adults by teaching them valuable mental health and well-being skills that can improve their lives and the lives of others. You will deliver our Mental Health First Aid courses within workplaces to our key corporate customers and to the general public.
Hours
To complete your specialist training and receive certification to teach independently youll need to be able to commit to roughly eight full days within the first two months. The exact time frame to be signed off will vary based on your facilitation skills and grasp of the course material.
After that the flexibility of a casual role means it can work around your schedule. Availability for early starts between 7.30 and 8am (not including travel) is necessary along with a willingness to work the occasional weekend.)

With a passion for mental health and wellbeing youll have a powerful desire to create positive and transformative learning opportunities to enhance the lives of individuals whnau organisations and communities. Our Tutors have a passion for the delivery of high-quality training in a way that engages attendees and produces excellent outcomes for our customers.
You will preferably have a background in and ideally hold or be working towards a qualification in the mental health and wellbeing.
