Job Description
A Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant at Summerset is more than just a cleaner.
Youre a quiet hero behind the scenes keeping our village fresh homely and dignified for the people who live here.
Were looking for a hardworking caring Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant to join our warm and welcoming Summerset by the Ranges Levin team. This role is all about making sure our residents feel comfortable safe and truly at home.
As a Housekeeper/Laundry Assistant youll be a key part of creating a clean uplifting and homelike environment for residents their whnau and fellow team members.
Your day-to-day activities will include:
- Ensuring high-quality cleaning across resident rooms bathrooms communal areas laundry and kitchen facilities
- Laundering folding and returning residents clothing and linens with care and attention
- Labelling mending and maintaining residents personal laundry items
- Supporting infection control measures and health and safety procedures
- Building friendly respectful relationships with residents and understanding their unique needs
This is a casual role working on an as and when required basis.
Qualifications :
Youll be a great fit if you:
- You have experience in housekeeping ideally in healthcare or hopsiatlity
- Take pride in your work and care about the small details
- Are physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
- Have a genuine interest in aged care (no experience necessary full training provided)
