Rpertoire Culinaire is specialised in the importation and distribution of high quality food products either chilled ambient or frozen. We operates in the United Kingdom Italy France Germany the United Arab Emirates Hong Kong Macau Vietnam CambodiaThailand Malaysia Singapore and Australia.
Our customer base is composed of Restaurants Hotels Independent Delicatessens Retailers and prestigious Food Halls.
Repertoire Culinaire is part of a family-controlled group whose origins lie in the production of premium Charcuterie Foie Gras and other Delicatessen products in France.
Post description
1. Financial Management
- Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable accounts receivable payroll and general ledger.
- Prepare review and analyze financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance with Malaysian & Singaporean tax laws and international accounting standards.
- Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Generate P&L Balance sheet Cash flow AP AR reports.
2. Compliance and Auditing
- Ensure adherence to Malaysian & Singaporean accounting regulations and tax compliance including VAT withholding taxes and corporate tax submissions.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies during audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local accounting standards and legislation.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting
- Collaborate with management to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
4. Process Improvement
- Evaluate and improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices and ensure the integration of accounting software and tools.
- Address and resolve discrepancies or errors in financial records.
Profile required
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian & Singaporean tax laws financial regulations and international accounting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ERP MICROSOFT DYNAMICS) and advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Fluency in English.
